Egg Freezing in Dubai

Preserve Your Fertility with Advanced Egg Freezing Solutions in Dubai & UAE

Egg Freezing in the UAE

Fertility isn’t only a medical decision, it’s a personal timeline, and not every woman is ready to build her family the moment her body is at its most fertile. Egg freezing at Best Life Fertility Centre gives women in Sharjah, Dubai, and across the UAE a scientifically sound way to pause that clock, preserving eggs while they’re at their healthiest for a future cycle whenever the time is right.

Every egg freezing plan here starts with a real conversation, not a standard protocol. Our embryology team, trained across Valencia and the region’s leading IVF labs, tailors stimulation and vitrification to your ovarian reserve, your age, and what you’re actually planning for, whether that’s a medical necessity or simply buying yourself time. If starting a family is also part of the conversation, our family balancing specialists can walk you through those options too.

Nothing about this process should feel rushed or confusing. We explain the science in plain language, we’re upfront about storage terms and costs from the first consultation, and we stay involved well beyond the retrieval, because peace of mind is part of what you’re paying for.

What Is Egg Freezing?

Egg freezing, clinically called oocyte cryopreservation, is the process of retrieving a woman’s eggs and preserving them in a frozen state so they can be used at a later date. Unlike embryo freezing, no fertilisation happens at this stage, only the unfertilised eggs themselves are collected and stored.

The eggs are retrieved after a short course of ovarian stimulation, then frozen within hours using vitrification, a rapid-freeze method that keeps the egg’s internal structure intact. When you’re ready to try for pregnancy, the eggs are thawed, fertilised with sperm through ICSI, and the resulting embryo is transferred in a standard IVF cycle.

It’s worth being clear about what egg freezing does and doesn’t do: it preserves the eggs you have now at today’s quality, it doesn’t improve egg quality, stop the biological clock entirely, or promise a future pregnancy on its own.

Reasons Women Choose to Freeze Their Eggs

There’s no single “right” reason to freeze eggs. In our experience, most patients fall into a few common situations:

Building a career, finishing education, or simply not yet ready for parenthood

An upcoming medical treatment, such as chemotherapy, that could reduce future fertility

A known family history of early menopause or a diagnosed drop in ovarian reserve

Not yet in a relationship they'd build a family in, but wanting the option preserved

Is Egg Freezing Right for You?

An initial consultation is the only way to know for certain, but it’s generally worth exploring if:

You're weighing career or life goals against a biological timeline that won't wait

You've received a diagnosis or treatment plan that puts future fertility at risk

Ovarian reserve testing has flagged a lower-than-expected egg count for your age

You want the reassurance of options before fertility becomes a pressing concern

You're undergoing gender-affirming treatment and want to preserve fertility beforehand

You're planning elective surgery or a medication course that could affect ovarian function

Our specialists review your hormone levels, ovarian reserve, and personal goals together, so the recommendation you get is built around your situation, not a generic age bracket. You can also browse our fertility blog for more on how ovarian reserve is assessed.

What Happens During Treatment

Initial Fertility Workup

We start with AMH bloodwork, an antral follicle count via ultrasound, and a full review of your medical history, giving us a realistic picture of your ovarian reserve before anything else is planned.

Stimulation Phase

Daily hormone injections over roughly ten to twelve days encourage multiple follicles to mature at once. You’ll come in for a handful of scans and blood draws so we can adjust dosing in real time.

The Retrieval Procedure

A short, sedated procedure, typically under twenty minutes, is used to collect the mature eggs. Most patients are back to normal activity within a day or two.

Vitrification

Within hours of retrieval, viable eggs are flash-frozen in our laboratory using vitrification, locking in their current quality before any decline can occur.

Ongoing Storage

Your eggs are kept in secure, monitored cryostorage, with straightforward renewal terms explained upfront, no surprise fees or unclear contracts down the line.

When You're Ready

Whenever you decide to use them, eggs are thawed, fertilised via ICSI, and the resulting embryos are transferred following our standard IVF and ICSI process.

What Sets Our Egg Freezing Program Apart

We built this program around the two things patients tell us matter most: lab quality and honest communication.

A vitrification lab with consistently strong post-thaw survival outcomes

Stimulation protocols built around your individual hormone profile, not a fixed template

Direct access to counselling and support at every stage of the process

JCI and EIAC-accredited facilities with an experienced embryology team

Clear, upfront storage pricing with no hidden renewal terms

If you’re comparing egg freezing clinics in Dubai or Sharjah, we’d rather you make that decision with full information than a polished sales pitch.

FAQ

What's the best age to freeze my eggs?

Egg quality is generally strongest in your late twenties and early thirties, though many women freeze successfully into their late thirties depending on ovarian reserve.

The retrieval procedure is done under sedation, so you won’t feel it happening. Mild cramping or bloating afterward is normal and usually resolves within a day or two.

Vitrified eggs don’t have a hard expiration date and can remain viable for many years in storage, though exact policies vary by clinic and jurisdiction.

It depends on your age and egg quality at retrieval. We give you a personalised estimate after reviewing your AMH and antral follicle results.

No procedure can guarantee a future pregnancy. Egg freezing improves your odds by preserving eggs earlier, but outcomes still depend on quality, quantity, and age at freezing.
