Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
International Patients
How do I start the IVF process at Best Life Fertility Centre as an international patient?
You can begin with a remote consultation via video call with Dr. Mazen Dayeh. Before your consultation, we will ask you to send previous fertility investigations, medical records, and semen analysis results. After reviewing your case, we will provide a personalized treatment plan with a timeline, costs, and guidance on when to travel to the UAE for the in-clinic phase of treatment.
How long do I need to stay in the UAE for IVF treatment?
Most of the monitoring during ovarian stimulation can be done at a clinic in your home country, with results sent to us remotely. You will need to travel to our clinic in Sharjah for the egg retrieval and embryo transfer, which will require approximately 7–10 days in the UAE in total. If a frozen embryo transfer is planned for a later cycle, a second shorter visit of 3–5 days is required.
Do I need a visa to come to the UAE for IVF treatment?
Most nationalities can obtain a UAE visa on arrival or via an e-visa. We can provide a medical letter to support your visa application if required. Our patient coordinators will assist you with any documentation needed.
Can I do part of my monitoring in my home country?
Yes. For international patients, we coordinate with your local clinic or obstetrician to conduct blood tests and ultrasound monitoring during the stimulation phase. Results are sent directly to our team, who will adjust your medication doses remotely. This means you only need to travel to Sharjah for the egg retrieval and transfer procedures.
What languages does Best Life Fertility Centre support?
Our team communicates with patients in English and Arabic. Dr. Mazen Dayeh and our clinical coordinators are experienced in working with patients from diverse backgrounds including South Asia, Europe, Africa, and the wider GCC region.
